Good, I think he is doing more important work on AA.

1. I couldn't agree more
In the Senate he'd be one voice among 100. What he's doing on AAR is more important.

2. Oh Right.....having a vote on policy setting matters for Americans is not
such a hot job after all.

3. Franken said honoring his contract reflects his values
I'm glad he's living up to his commitments, but sad he's not running for Dayton's seat in MN.

7. Thank Allah!
Minnesota does NOT need another celebrity politician. Jesse Ventura was PLENTY.

Franken's a decent guy, but for all his talk about progressive values, he doesn't always stand up for them when the sh!t hits the fan. For example, he made appearances at ClearChannel's pre-war "patriotic" rallies, was a supporter of the PATRIOT act, and has supported the corporatist wing of the party over Main Street.

Franken's okay, but he's not the kind of pol Minnesota needs in that Senate seat. He'd play in the metro area, but he'd get slaughtered outside of Minneapolis/St. Paul.

8. Please, people, Franken is funning with us!
He is not being serious here -- he never had any intention of running in 06! Got him a headline in the Minneapolis StarTribune, tho:

I'm sure he's laughing out his ass!
