This is no time for Joementum-style, turn-the-other-cheek politics. The Bushies are totally out of their minds. If we don`t stop them, the United States of America is going to morph into something unrecognizable. Once you get beyond the daily drip...drip...drip and start putting all this stuff together, it`s really frightening.

Here`s my take: If you`re a Red-Stater, you`re a real American loved by Bush`s one true God. If you`re a Blue-Stater, you`re either a Pinko-Commie, an Environmental Whacko, a Liberal who kills babies or a Peacenik who loves terrorists. Reds have morals. Blues don`t. Just ask Wolf Blitzer or Joe Scarborough.

We went after Osama bin Laden because he planned the killing of innocent Americans. He`s an evil-doer. Bush`s policies are killing innocent Iraqis. He`s a hero. Am I missing something? On Bush`s say-so,Americans transferred their 9/11 anger to a country that was no threat. We decided we had the right to invade, tear down their monuments, change their currency, raid their houses, take control of their oilfields,water and electricity. We killed them, tortured them, disappeared them. We call this freedom.

We have Secret Energy Task Force meetings, the outing of a C.I.A. agent, loyalty oaths , ghost torture planes, media payola, rigged voting, Pentagon TV, Hollywood stagecraft sold as patriotism, an enormous trade deficit and national debt. We have military officers bragging about what fun it is to kill or announcing that his God is the only true God. We`re up to our eyeballs in Halliburton contracts, our jobs are outsourced. How much more are we supposed to take?

This is no time for glowing speeches about our friends across the aisle. If we had any sense at all, we`d be marching in the streets. We`d be telling the Democratic Party leadership that the days of cowering in the corner are O-V-E-R....over! We`d be putting the Bushies on notice that they can not lie our soldiers to their deaths, they can not rent out our government to corporate cronies and they can not scare us into silence.

Forget CNN and Fox. Forget what kind of foam is coming out of Ann Coulter`s mouth. They aren`t worth a nanosecond of your time. Instead, help defeat these fascists who have taken over the country. If the Red-Staters want to cheer every time they hear a lie, so be it. We don`t have to be that gullible. Call Republicans what they are: Cheap Labor Party, Torture Party, Me First Party, Corporate Interest Party. Remind them their hero leaders are Chickenhawks whose inside connections during the Vietnam War saved them from the same kind of fate they callously serve up to others. Every time you hear one of them bash a Liberal, ask them if they`d like to end their school`s hot lunch program or rescind a woman`s right to vote. Remind them that while they were busy paving the way for offshore accounts, the Democratic base was fighting for the strikers outside meat packing plants. In other words, just decide you aren`t going to take it anymore and be proud you`re a Democrat.

Bush isn't doing it by himself, he has more then enough enablers in congress on both sides of the aisle.

Add to that his growing group of kool-aid drinking sheep.

So that was foam coming out of Ann's mouth, I thought it was something with protein, my bad.;)

By the way I agree with what you're saying, if they are so proud, then we shouls start calling them what they really are, the New Nazi Party,i.e. Republicans.
