Another great REPUBLICAN JESUS cartoon from Jesus' General

If you're not already following the satirical progressive blog "Jesus' General" (http://patriotboy.blogspot.com), you're missing a real treat. From time to time, Republican Jesus cartoons are posted there (you can get mugs and such with RJ too), and many of them are wonderful. Here's the one still posted in the blog thread now (scroll way down):



I love the Republican Jesus cartoon series because it speaks so directly to the huge chasm between false claim and reality in the basis for RW fundies' views and actions.

I can't see how Mr. Jeff Jim JD Gannon Guckert's detractors can live with themselves. These sites have nothing to do with homosexuality. If they did, Jeff Jim JD Gannon Guckert couldn't serve as Our Leader's point man in the war against seditious reason without being a self-hating, power-hungry, Roy-Cohn-channeling, little carny-barking quisling.

Obviously, these sites are nothing more than a good conservative boy's heartfelt tribute to the troops. They're a thank you to the many servicemen who have fought so hard for Jeff Jim JD Gannon Guckert's right to post pictures of his buff, young, half-naked, stateside, civilian body on the internet.

It sickens me that such a patriotic act could be used against him in this fashion. I pray to God that I am not treated similarly when they learn about my own web tributes to American wool production, www.hot-lesbian-ewe-action.com and ramtheram.com.

6. Yes, he is wonderful. And you get to "report to the General"

that is, make comments on his posts, in the same satirical vein if you want to. That can be really fun, too.

I always check in on The General -- it's either funny, hilariously funny, or absolutely rolling-on-the-floor-hooting-and-hollering over-the-top funny.

You will note that his merchandise, like the Republican Jesus mugs, and his "straight" articles in other sites are by "his inner Frenchman."

Once in a while, things are so awful that he just plays it straight, his feelings are too strong for satire. But most of the time, satire gets the job done beautifully, and many of his regular commenters are also very funny.

The General and his Inner Frenchman do a great job with his site and his multitudinous other pro-progressive efforts.

12. The General's satire is not anti-Jesus at all - it shows up hypocrisy

in the blivet** administration thugs. The Republican Jesus series is just one more way he is pointing out the difference between true followers of Jesus' philosophy and the hateful, greedy thugs who are using his name to destroy.
