3. From cspan's website:
FROM WASHINGTON
Democrats Honor McAuliffe
The Democratic National Committee holds its winter meeting today. The dinner is devoted to a tribute to retiring Chairman Terry McAuliffe. Fmr. Pres. Clinton & Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) are among those speaking at the event, along with comedian Al Franken & DNC Vice Chairman Lottie Schackelford.

McCauliffe looks stoned or somethin' in this picture, doesn't he? Dude, wake up??

7. We need to do this. It's what one does to honor someone, even though
McAuliff was a disaster, imho...it still needs to be done. He was good for Clinton but bad for everyone after. He served a long term. See him off...and good riddance. But, he still needs a fond farewell.. Politeness is important.

9. Glad someone else thinks so...
I got banged up in another thread for saying that we should thank him for his hard work, however misguided it might have been...

After all I am sure he feels great about all our loses...
