LOOK who interviews Gannon! Think about it !!!....
Something STINKS...

# 1 White House reporters didn't notice this guy and say "who the hell is he?" or "Never heard of that news org?" and didn't pursue it?

# 2 Even after all this scum comes out, CNN a major news org, offers an interview. But throws softball questions? This is THEIR profession, their livelyhood, right? Shouldn't they be hammering about a fake -- how it makes all of journalism appear?

# 3 Gannon's being allowed to free publicity that's got a positive spin. Why ?

My Guess: The ones organizations) that allow soft interviews are in on the B** Administration Propaganda Program

WE ARE THE MEDIA !!!!!!

2. It's no longer about "Gannon"...
He has already been discarded. This is about protecting the White House from any possible fallout.

3. It's proof positive they exist as Bush's CoverupNewsNetwork.
Imagine if this had been Clinton's White House pulling a stunt like this.

4. I told my husband that I believed the MSM has failed us miserably!
Now we have to be the eyes and ears...How did all of the media just let this guy "slip" by? One certainly wonders...

Also- How does the MSM sleep at night- they've BETRAYED us!!!!

22. But no one is stopping Kerry, Hillary or Obama from talking about it on TV
So the DEMs have let us down on this too.

We cant expect the media to run stories about how corrupt they are- why would they do that?

Its up to DEMS to either keep this story going or let it die.

5. Yep dammit
I just watched Olbermann. The NPR guy was another shill who wanted to basically defend him with the it's just a day pass b.s. Also both him and Olbermann missed the real point:

Talon NEWS isn't really a NEWS outlet. It's right wing PROPAGANDA. They have no circulation. They have no paper. It's a BLOG. It's not equal to ABC, CBS, AP, The Oregonian, Fox News, The Cincinatti Inquirer-get it? It's like having a "reporter" from the Free Republic. There is bias, a political view, all papers and media have some but then there is out and out PROPAGANDA. Why can't the MSM call a spade a spade if they are not complicit???

The fact that he's a NOBODY and gets access to ask the President questions means he's a SOMEBODY and somebody wants him there. It's so freaking obvious.

6. You are absolutely right
You should email what you just wrote to Olbermann and others...

TALON is not a news outlet in any sense of the word.

using a well-thought out new name, of course.

10. No circulation?
Gannon claimed to have 700,000 DAILY subscribers to his little online rag.

Seven hundred thousand. DAILY.

More than MSNBC and CNN combined. For "Talon" news, which has no staff or paid employees. With 700,000 daily subscribers, he should have been rolling in advertising or subscription revenues. Something. But that just doesn't add up, in my mind. 700,000 a day is a lot of "subscribers" for an unknown right-wing org like that. And, if my site had 700,000 daily subscribers, I'd be out raising capital to go corporate.

The guy may -- may -- be telling the truth.

LOL! Sometimes I just crack myself up!

26. Someone posted on this yesterday.
Don't know how they did it, but they were checking traffic to his website - under 200,000, and this was after he came under scrutiny.

I think whoever posted showed that there were no subscribers to the site, just visitors.

13. Olbermann didn't miss, he just didn't ask the NPR guy the question
Later in the segment, Olbermann said of Gannon, "You are or were never a reporter."

Then he quoted the old Smothers Brothers "Cowboy Outfit Song:"

I can see by your outfit that you are a cowboy.
You can see by my outfit I'm a cowboy, too.
You can see by our outfits that we are both cowboys.
Get yourself an outfit and be a cowboy, too!

I think that gets to the meat of the matter: get yourself a propaganda machine, dress it up and "bingo" you're a reporter! But, are you really?

9. I agree! I watched the Blitzer interview and what a spin job
If there was ANY doubt in my mind before that this media wasn't under the complete control of the Whitehouse...there isn't now!

That interview was basically spun to show the so called left in a bad light because they threatened *his family* AKA his mom and brother...but note how he tried to make the term sound like he had a wife and kids lol

11. This is a sad day. Every day is worse. I just thought B** was
a bad president, but to fake a reason for war AND GET AWAY WITH IT, to screw with out most precious right - to vote AND GET AWAY WITH IT, and now FOR SURE to own the media AND GET AWAY WITH IT. These were all just feelings before, like you always knew the men on white horses would come in and fix and expose the wrong. Now it's Total reality and its horribly scary. And no one knows this except us. And we have no way to tell anyone. KO is the only thing close to the truth we have now.

and we're it. The old guard isn't going to change their ways just because we're scared or disappointed

Let's use the internets while we have it, or them. We're the grown ups, too.

19. Its the little things that trip the powerful up
Look at Nixon who was brought down by a "third rate burglary". And Clinton who was almost brought down by a "third rate blow job".

You are right that this whole Gannongate scandal is silly and the height of comedy. Still, you never know. Bush could be brought down by a "third rate journalist".

14. That's right. Good point. Let's keep score.
Blitzer bent over

Aaron Brown allowed real questions to be raised.
Olbermann went after the story.

Who else on cable?

20. You know, Brown and Blitzer are same network. Maybe I am
wrong. Maybe Blitzer just sucks. Actually, now they I think about it, I've thought that for a long time. He has absolutely zero followup - he never has. It is like he could tape his interviews and just leave gaps where the person fills in the answer.

21. Top DEMS could go on TV tonight and demand an investigation.
And raise "hot" accusations like "Bush is paying the media to lie for him- lord knows who else in on the pay roll, eh, Wolf?"

Otherwise, the story will die- we cant expect the media to report on how corrupt it is.

NOT pundits- but top, household name DEMS like Kerry, Dean, Hillary & Obama need to go ON TV NOW and start "raising questions" about how "Bush pays the media to lie for him."

27. The first official act of Howard Dean
Should be to demand the media be free from government control. The only way to insure this is to call for a full investigation into the pundit payola scandals and the Jeff Gannon ordeal.
