If I had an injured child, there's no one I would rather have representing us. Wouldn't you?

Have you heard of the appeal process in the US judicial system--you know, the one where, if you feel the verdict is wrong, you can ask a higher court to overturn it? Do you suppose those hospitals' and insurance companies' high paid attorneys did not know about that?

I like Edwards a lot and don't think that any similarities in name to television psychics will hurt him. His ability to reach jury members by appealing to them personally should also help him reach voters.

I find myself defending Edwards, but he's not my guy.

My guy has been pronounced unseemly for having an emotive moment and can no longer be allowed to run among the great pantheon of humans for president, those elevated beings such as George Fucking Bush, he of great control, wit, courage, elocution, restraint, judgment and moral clarity.

I feel my home at DU has been invaded by hordes of Rush Limbaughs.

Now if you wonder why I posted it, simply because I am researching John Edwards in order to decide who I should vote for. I found this particularly quote and the John Edwards/John Edward comparison irresistable. Are you really that sensitive and thin-skinned? This didn't seem to wear well for Dean supports, and I doubt Edwards supporters will fare any better trying it. Get informed, have a chuckle, and move on. Geez.
