The International Community is more willing to train Iraqi Forces, the forces involved in deadly skirmishes seem to be mainly Iraqi Forces, the Iraqi Forces are getting more enlistments. What is the real story here?

2. True, but is Bush going to be able to claim victory? |
|
It just is suspicious that things seem to be quieting down - legitimately or not. I am just wondering if something else is going on that I am missing.

3. Things do seem to be quieting down a bit |

Bush will claim victory no matter what happens. I am not sure that I even know what victory is in this case. I think it will be years before we know what this action has done to Iraq. I don't see it working over the long haul. America is so ethnocentric that we think that everyone wants to be like us. I do not subscribe to that point of view.

4. Things haven't quieted down much at all, IMO |
|
It's just that the dead people are mostly Iraqis and so the violence doesn't get as much play over here.
