I posted yesterday at Raw Story about my curiosity regarding this very point. Are we looking at the guy that will end up taking the fall for Plame investigation? Nothing that this admin will fail to amaze me anymore, there must be a Rove behind it.

...using a pseudonym and getting within throwing distance of the President would never be a red herring. It would be a serious breach of security no matter who was in the White House. With all due respect, eek, I think that we should ease up on suspecting that everything is a Rove move. Suspecting Rove of everything is itself starting to seem like faling for a red herring.

I've heard MSM mention everying regarding this story EXCEPT the Plame outing. That's their only real concern, and everything and everyone else is exendable.

If Gannon starts to weaken the roots of the idea that liberals are hunting him has already been planted. (Although why liberals would want to kill someone who is so obviously an albatross around the neocons neck is beyond me.)
