Whattt? CNN defensive of Gallup. Woodruff saying a new Gallup poll - 49%

approval for Bush "in line" with other polls currently out.

What happened to the huge 57% approval rating you guys have been touting (which oversampled Republicans)? Why can't they mention exactly what the other new poll that came out today said - 45% Bush approval?

As usual, CNN trying to defend their screwed up polls.

New AP poll states "Adults were evenly divided on Bush's job performance in January, but now 54 percent disapprove and 45 percent approve. The number who think the country is headed down the wrong track increased from 51 percent to 58 percent in the past month."

Right track 38%/wrong track 58%

2. When FOX "NEWS" shows Bush's "approval rating" under 50%...

you know that Bush is not doing so well! I only saw Bill O'reilly, Sean "Hitler" Hannity and one USA Today article cite the 57% approval number! Gallup knows that we're on to them and they know that they better get in line with reality or else!

I know in the 57% approval one they oversampled Republicans dramatically.

What is the ratio on this new one? Anyone know?

5. Her 5 second mention of it was the first I have heard of it and she

didn't mention anything else about whatever new poll they have out.

That seemed weird and defensive. They didn't treat it like a new poll with a variety of new numbers to release.
