Did anyone else catch Scott McClellan's press conference?
He sounded a little more nervous today than in the past. I guess not having the softball around has got him a little rattled. Helen Thomas even got a question in. Of course he didn't answer it. He was also asked about the Clarke memo and had the nerve to say that he didn't read it.
Right!
I can't wait to hear him say "No, Helen the president will not be resigning." Only to have to eat his words.

1. Gee do you suppose that Scottie is on his way out?
I hope. I hope. I hope.

Just hold the door for George, will you Scottie?

2. Thank God for C-Span archives
I'll check it out ... They'll probably have yesterday's briefing available, too. (Would love to have seen that!)

3. He is a poor excuse for his job. But he did seem rather antsy
today. And he didn't answer questions. When Helen speaks he will never let her finish. His repetition of the Bush line is killing me. If Scotty would just come out and say The President will do what he darn well pleases! it would cut through of lot of the BS.

8. Nice.
I'd like to add this: just once I'd like to see Scottie ignore a question by Helen Thomas only to be asked by the next reporter "Why won't you answer Helen's question?"

7. WTF? Sounds like no one reads in the WH! What an asshole!
Someone should have shoved a copy in his face and waited for a response.
