Good page on plurality voting from fairvote.org.

Includes links to pages that list every governor in the last 57 years elected with less than 50% of the vote, and pages dealing with presidential plurality victories since 1912.

It's interesting to me, anyway...

1. seems to me that run-off voting is the only way to avoid the problem.
