The Future of Social Security -- the video
As reported on page C1 of the WSJ today, Edward Jones (the company that was http://www.thestreet.com/funds/funds/10200502.html">fined a record $75 million for receiving kickbacks from mutual funds they were peddling to their clients) has produced a 33 minute video entitled "The Future of Social Security." A spoksman for the company says that it doesn't "advocate any position at all" and is intended to be "informational." The WSJ goes on to report that EJ has been supporting private SS accounts for years and has submitted money to lobbying groups to this end. And why wouldn't they? Wall Street firms are estimated to reap http://www.aflcio.org/issuespolitics/socialsecurity/wallstreetgreed/index.cfm">$940 billion in fees from privatization over the next 75 years. (Sure, it's almost a trillion dollars, but over 75 years. Who can wait that long?)

So what's in the video? I haven't seen it, but I'd love to. I've been calling braches to see if I can get a hold of it, but it's not so easy. If anyone can help, please let me know.

2. Thanks
I found that page and have begun calling branches to see if I can see the video. Not so easy. No one seems to have it. Nor do they seem to be able to get it. Crazy. Anyway, the online poll is fantastic. They say "take our online poll," but for the life of me I can't figure out how to submit my vote. Oh well.
