If the Social Security shoe were on the other foot

How would Republicans respond if they could demonstrate that a social security program could be revamped to save trillions of dollars in advance, be operated transparently, with fees and costs below 0.2%, was among the safest investments in the world, had bi-partisan support, promoted a partnership between employers and employees and provided predictable benefits for every citizen?

Well, put up what they're proposing against what already exists - and see which shoe they want to wear.
