15. I don't understand

why they don't want serious questions given to Bush (or McClellan). The questions shouldn't be propaganda against him, not along the lines of "how do you manage to deal with people who are so divorced of reality" (but with republicans as targets). But if they had confidence in Bush's policies, and his (or McClellan's) knowledge of his policies, it seems like they would welcome serious questions and explanations of the details of plans.

I know during the campaign, I was upset when Kerry got fluff questions, I didn't want to hear an interview about what kind of beer he drinks, I wanted to hear him talk honestly about his beliefs and plans. I wouldn't have wanted a liberal version of Gannon in the gaggle. And I KNOW the democrats would have held Kerry accountable for everything he did/

From my perspective, I can see why they wouldn't want a question of substance (because I don't think the administration can handle substance). But I don't understand why the freepers don't want questions of substance, if they really do have faith in what he's saying.

Isn't that what we look for in our candidates? Don't we want tough questions and honest answers? Isn't that just plain common sense? It's fine (well not really), that they back their fearful leader, but why do they not want him to answer real questions. THAT, to me, is really scary.
