It's time for a Black (V)PoUS
I'm sick and tired of lily-livered spineless wimps. I would actively support for President of the United States either Charlie Rangle, John Conyers, Henry Waxman, Sheila Jackson-Lee, or Stephanie Tubbs Jones.

Unlikely it will happen, but any of the above would make a most excellent VP.

God bless the CBC. :yourock:

2. I see your point, here's a second pass at the language
I'm sick and tired of lily-livered spineless wimps. I would actively support for President of the United States either Charlie Rangle, John Conyers, Henry Waxman, Sheila Jackson-Lee, or Stephanie Tubbs Jones.

I'm a pragmatist. Given the current political system, this is unlikely it will happen, but any of the above would make a most excellent VP.

God bless the CBC. :yourock:

p.s. PROVE ME WRONG! Let's break the glass ceiling!

4. I don't think the problem is "spineless wimps" but a party that see
fit to garnish the votes but not share the power. The Rebublicans will have a Black on the ticket for President before Democrats would even consider a Black for VP. Say what you will about Republicans they know how to use people to get what they want, too bad Democrats use people also but don't get what they want. I suppose you will hear a chorus of the country is not ready folks posting here. Was the country ready for a Black SOS, well it seems they got one anyway.

5. I shudder to think of a Black Pug on the ticket
the obvious candidate is Colin Powell, and I even have my doubts about him. He is probably out of the running for good, for his personal reasons.

I am afraid we'd end up with a Clarence Thomas, Condoleezza Rice version of a Presidential candidate.

If the Pugs endorsed someone who is progressive and moderate (at all times) and not easily influenced by the right wing wacko movement, then that is a viable candidate, Black or White.

7. I don't think I would support that.
She really hasn't done all that much legislatively, outside of naming a couple of post offices. In fact, I think the only thing she's done is tell it like it is.

6. Charles Barkley
He's barred by law from running for governor of Alabama (you have to be a state resident for 7 years). But he can run against Jeff Sessions (please God, let someone beat Sessions) and then -- who knows?

President Charles!!
