Take back the scream! YEEAAARRRRGGGHHH!!
If you're like me, you love Howard's scream. Even if you don't, you must be tired of the RW attempt to use it as a smear.

I say it's time we take it back.

So Dems, Greens, Liberals and Lefties of all stripes who desire to claim what is rightfully ours, let's crank up the Progressive PR engine.

Post your ideas for stickers, shirts, posters, billboards, and anything else we can use to get the word out and...

TAKE BACK THE SCREAM!

Here's a good place to start: www.makestickers.com

Now show us what you've got...

34. "I'm Screaming TOO!"
I'd like to see a bumper sticker that says this.

Or a two-liner:

I'm With Howard Dean
I'M SCREAMING, TOO!

That is honestly how I feel.

Dean Screams for ME!

There's another one.

I started listening a couple of months ago, but I thought the scream was just kind of a fun thing for her. I didn't realize it had message value as well.

Awesome.

4. I say we make it our battle cry !
Because if, as the bumper sticker says, you're not completely appalled, you haven't been paying attention.

And if you have been paying attention, then surely you want to let out a rebel yell just like Dean did.

So here's to taking BACK OUR COUNTRY:
(this one's for you, Kef)

YYYEEEEAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH !!!

7. Just like "Whooooo-ya"
A DJ at a very popular radio station here in Los Angeles was known for his "whooo-ya" and at one point there were bumper stickers that just said "whoooo-ya" and nothing else.

Pretty cool, and pretty cryptic.

13. Make your own bumpersticker instructions:

  • Go to http://www.makestickers.com
  • Choose a template (I used the politics and politicians template for most of mine)
  • Use Alt+Print Screen or your favorite graphics app to capture the page
  • Crop
  • Upload your masterpiece to your favorite image host and...
  • Voila!

I was thrilled to hear him refuse to answer one of those "some people say..." questions one of the "reporters" asked him. Dean said he wouldn't answer questions that were blind sourced. This is an EXCELLENT policy.

    36. This is TRUE TRUE TRUE!!!
We take that scream and make it ours. That immunizes it against being used as a republi-CON weapon. Completely neutralizes it.

Just think of it this way - remember that stunt with the aircraft carrier and "pResident Top Gun"? You could just taste it as an inevitable campaign commercial. The pains they took to sstage it so perfectly and photogenically! Well, it got turned around - we made it OURS instead of letting them run with it, and took the teeth out of it. And they couldn't use it once. I realize this is not an identical situation, but it IS another ship that can, and should be turned in OUR direction.

If anybody needs to turn this into a campaign weapon, it's US.

When I saw the clip of The Scream, my heart absolutely LEAPT. Here was a candidate who was so packed with power, confidence, and unbridled joy that it was infectious. How could anyone not respond to that energy, especially after watching Fuckwit twitch, smirk, and mumble his way through his public appearances? Howard Dean is a MAN ON FIRE. He's alive. Plus...I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel a little...melty...when I watched that power scream.:bounce:
