Anyone wanna start a pool on when civil war breaks out?? I'll take 17 days.
Can anyone provide me with some optimism on this one? Could the situation be worse than an already militant Sunni population being dominated politically by the Shiites after an election in which there was almost definitely concerns of rigging by the "bastard Americans"?
If there's a silver lining in this one, please share. I fear for our troops' safety.

See the thread I just posted. Apparently he's gonna be their nominee for Prime Minister. Something stinks here.....

2. Yeah. Surprise, surprise, no? |

I'm just going to sit back and see how it plays out. I have no choice anyway, and I do enjoy being proven RIGHT AGAIN! Don't flame me for a lack of compassion; I'm all compassioned-out.

4. Is it true that the Kurd party & Allawi party are uniting? |
|
I heard it from the TV within the last 24 hours but since I have some news station or C-Span on all the time I can't remember where it came from. I might have been half asleep but I thought at the time that the Shia's wouldn't be too happy with that alliance rivaling their percentage and control.

7. I think the US is manipulating the control. The Shiites won but after |
|
a suspicious re-count, they didn't gain the 2/3 necessary for control. My guess is that our media is setting the stage for the puppet installation.

6. And I think our guy got many of those votes in the last two weeks. |

Funny how those 300 ballots box contents needed to be re-counted. Many were write-ins for Saddam...did they just cross out Saddam and write in our favorite boy?
