27. So,
why is this an issue, the RNC and DNC have never posed this a problem before. Strange, it is an issue now. So, where is the wife of the leader of the RNC? Doesn't have one? Oh, so he is divorced? No? Oh, but he has a boyfriend? Just wondering.

30. But DAVID DRIER lives with HIS boyfriend!!!
Not only that, he EMPLOYS his boyfriend. Little Brad makes about a hundred bucks a year less than Karl Rove and Andy Card. He is one of the best paid "staffers" on the Hill. Quite a staff old Drier must have!

41. do you remember when Larry Flynt offered women money
around the time of Clinton's impeachment if they could show proof of Republican hypocrites engaged in some of the things they were attacking Clinton for ?

i'm wondering what would have happened if he had done the same for men also. remember Lindsey Graham was one of the leaders of the impeachment. it's likely one or more of the guys he has been with had come forward with it.

And she's obviously dedicated to her practice, which is essentially a small-town sort of practice. Her patients would probably be devastated if she left.

35. Most do
In fact, it is like frat boy city in some of those apartments. Often the freshmen will get a place and room together, and if they get reelected, they stay in that same arrangement, maybe moving to a slightly better joint once they get reelected and have some job security. They are only there four days a week. Thursday nights/Friday mornings are HELLISH at National Airport, as are Mondays when they come back. The little bastards are EVERYWHERE, and get highly irritated when their flights don't take off on time. Gotta get back to their districts, press the flesh, raise the cash!!

Oh my God.. Judy isn't going to pack up and move to Washington?! How dare she - I mean, it's not like a job like president or something where he has to live there all the time. I think I prefer her *not* go down to Washington. She outside of the belt way - she does have a job and a practice outside of politics. Hell, Howard Dean probably won't be there all the time anyways.

If this is the best they can do to attack Dean, then, my friends, that is pretty sad.

22. I like the "eyebrows were raised" part
Whose "eyebrows were raised" after it was "revealed that Dean's wife, Judy, will not be joining her husband in his move." Is it possible to be any vaguer?

And after we determine who had the "raised eyebrows" are we supposed to care?

Is this the best they can come up with?

24. This reminds me of my Husband, who doesn't pay that much attention
to things like DNC Chair (he is a reg. Republican), he comes in the room yesterday and says to me (I have the news on showing Dean - no longer C-span because the meeting was over)

"Ha, ha, Did you hear how he won?"

I respond with a suspicious "How?"

My husband "Everybody else dropped out, that is why he won."

Me "#$%##*@# - Everybody dropped out because Dean had the votes to win wrapped up, you dumbass! Don't try to tell me about stuff you don't know about ......"

But he was right. That was the impression CNN and Headline News gave when I watched it later. It doesn't really matter but it is a good example of how the media distorts things even when they tell the truth.

25. Here: for those who ain't going over there
I've been scummier places. I once went to newsmax to read Jerome Corsi's column over there. But I digress.

This is what Drudge says:

Howard Dean won the chairmanship of the national Democratic Party over the weekend and quickly began looking for a home in Washington. "This is really goodbye to Vermont, for now. There's lots of work to do," Dean told supporters. Eyebrows were raised after it was revealed that Dean's wife, Judy, will not be joining her husband in his move. "She has a career as a doctor, her patients require her attention," said one Dean friend. The Deans will join the growing ranks of "commuter marriages," with both partners living in different locations.

Let's see if the picture links.

These people are very strange.

Dean said Judy would continue to practice medicine and that he'd be living out of hotel rooms basically. He will be home when he can.

The title should read "Dean's wife supportive of his personal sacrifice for our country." ;)

And, we've been married over 20 years!

Heck, that is not even news. He said that during the press conference at DNC. He will live in both places but mostly in motels around the country for a while. The VT residence he made clear would be his voting one, his actual home.

This is unbelievably silly. At least Drudge put up a good picture.

His job requires him to be out in the states most all of the time.

This is such a non-issue!

Judy was with him at the DNC meeting and at the party Saturday night until she had to leave to catch a plane. I'm so glad to see that we don't have many "Stepford Wives" in the Democratic Party! The GOP just can't stand strong, independent, intelligent wives, can they?
