A Sex Scandal involving the White House
All we have to do is sit back and let conservatives take care of this heady issue. We can understand how their being lied to for four plus years involving the deaths of thousands and thousands of human beings, and the misappropriations of billions and billions of fiduciary expenditures can easily be explained by conservatives. But now a break for us. I'm sure we can rely on God fearing Conservative Americans to take the ball and run with this SEX SCANDAL INVOLVING THE WHITE HOUSE. Those responsible for such an outrage will be held accountable because the blood of conservatives runs red white and blue. Praise the Lord.

1.  Scott McClellan Possible Gay Connection To Gannon
"RAW STORY has been told that the White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan visited a gay bar in Austin, Texas, on March 19, 1995. The date was placed exactly as a local memorial service was held on the same day.

The source, who would only comment on condition of anonymity, reserved comment on whether McClellan was actually gay, but said he was frequently seen at gay clubs. Another source also confirmed this account.

“He was often seen in gay clubs in Austin, Texas and was comfortable being there,” the Texan said. “He’s been seen in places that normal people who are looking for heterosexual relationships are not seen alone.”

“He was the mayor’s son in town, everybody knew who he was,” the source added, referring to McClellan’s mother Carole Keeton Strayhorn."

12. All the more ironic
...because "Jeff Gannon" loved to taunt Bill Clinton about the blue dress in his posts on Free Republic.

It is hypocrisy of breath-taking magnitude to tell "liberal bloggers" to bring it on, and KNOW what you were a ho as recently May 2003.

9. Exactly...
I put on my hip boots and waded over to Freeperland, just to see what their take was.

Here it is:

Liberals are hypocritical in outing him.

It's not true, because the porn website thing was explained to their satisfaction with the BS Gannon shoveled with Brit Hume.

It's not Gannon in all those pics, and John@ Americablog searched for lookalikes.

And my personal favorite:
Speculating that John stayed up all night creating fake websites.

These guys are such tools.

16. What if it had been Helen Thomas or CBS's John Roberts?
What if Helen Thomas had been living a double life and had porn pictures of herself posted on the internet? What if Free Republic uncovered that CBS's John Roberts was available for stud service, in addition to filling in for Dan Rather when he is on assignment?

I think I would be shocked and horrified. I don't think I'd be rushing to their defence about their right to privacy and free speech and saying it was nobody's business. Which is what Guckert supporters are doing. IMHO, once you post pictures of yourself with a hard on and solicit clients online for sex, you kinda aren't a private person.

I don't care what sexual persuasion Guckert was -- the fact that he was a prostitute is shocking. The fact that he posted pornographic pictures of himself on the internet with the goal of advertising to "clients" is sickening.
And it's not like this stuff happened in his "reckless youth" -- the web site Americablog cites was active until May 2003! And now "Gannon" says all of this stuff is irrelevant because he has been saved by Jesus Christ. Apparently, pretty recently....

It doesn't get any more sleazy than this. GOPUSA **HIRED** this guy to be a reporter! And he was a SALARIED reporter on their staff.

And somehow a scuzzy PROSTITUTE got into the WH pressroom time and time and time again! He even managed to direct a question at the POTUS.
It's crazy. Maybe it's just ultra hard core authoritarian hypocrisy, that this guy's brain was so compartmentalized that he never feared that his vocation as a ho for hire would be revealed, after he had set himself up as such a conspicuous presence among the WH press corps. Bizarre. Craziest yet, "Gannon" goaded opponents to "bring it on" -- knowing that all this porn stuff he had done was out there and could be uncovered. Did he think he was protected? Was he praying it would not be revealed, and that he could leave it all behind after he had become a Big Man in "journalism"?

To those who say this is not a big story -- gee, what if it was Helen Thomas or John Roberts? Yeah, it would be a big story. It IS a big story.

It remains to be shown if anyone knew "Jeff"'s two careers simultaneously.

You have to ask, if the WH and GOPUSA and their freeper supporters are so darned innocent, WHERE IS THEIR OUTRAGE?? Why aren't the dogs barking? If I was Bush, or Scotty, and I was truly caught offguard by this, I'd be freaking out and screaming for someone's head to roll for embarassing me with a HO in my midst!! So you have to wonder, why are they soft-pedalling it? Why isn't Wolf Blitzer freaking? i think it's pretty obvious. Their cover as propagandists has been blown BIG TIME -- and now they are scurrying away like cockroaches.

This IS a big story. And it is going to get even bigger. We haven't gotten to the bottom of it yet.

31. Situational Ethics,
We see a lot of that these days... "Why aren't the repukes running McClellan out of office... and such". In most situations, the good people here at the DU would stand up to defend a person who appears to be persecuted for being gay, not complaining that the witch-hunt has been going to easy on someone. It's interesting to see people here who aren't afraid to use situational ethics themselves to point out situational ethics on the other side, or people who just revel in conservatives "eating one of their own".

Do most people still believe that persecuting someone based on race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation is ALWAYS wrong? Did I miss a memo, because I'm not feeling a whole lot of that sentiment right now.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x1589943#1589951

Jeff Gannon worked for Talon News. Talon News and GOPUSA both belong to Bobby Eberle. The members of the board of directors are mostly active GOP Operatives from Texas.

Board member, Richard M. Powell is the Managing Director for Quinn Gillespie & Assoc. LLC.

Gillespie is none other than Ed Gillespie who was on a 'leave of absence' running the RNC for the 2004 Election.

But hang on folks, this doesn't involve just the GOP, it involves the DEMS too!

So who is Quinn, in this Quinn, Gillespie? Surprise, surprise he is a fellowed name Jack Quinn, a top DEM DC lobbyist.

Check out the News Page on their Website. This goes all the way to the Bush Campaign and the Kerry Campaign! They are all in bed together.

a 'gay' prostitute service, etc. involving the White House?? It barely saw the light of day and media made sure it was snuffed. Is this part of it or just the tip of the ice berg??? I don't think Bush is gay---he's just not interested in sex. Wife is a thing you have to drag around to be elected (that's why it took him exactly 3 months from meeting Laura to marrying her because he was having trouble getting elected in Texas as a 'carpetbagger' from the North). Being worthy of being the Bush family new "don" is what he stives for---money, power and making people suffer. Perverted little creep that he is. Just like Daddy and his preference for little boys that supposedly the Chinese (when he was ambassador there) have pictures of.

43. There is probably a lot to this Gannon guy
it's very odd and sad how he can be a gay man hiding behind a macho conservative exterior. I wonder how many other rethugs are like him out there.

47. Does anyone need any more proof this WH is worse than Nixon's?
As an old Saturday Night Live sketch lampooning Pat Nixon writing her memoirs went, "There was no such thing as sex in the Nixon White House. Never! Never! Never!"

64. Gosh, I hate to admit that you're probably right

This AM ole' "Robyn" is made-up prettier than ever and spewing all the juicy bits from such important stories as Michael Jackson calling 100 witnesses including Kobe Bryant and Liz Taylor; and oh, and the horrific tale from the Zoloft defense.

The MSM is bought and paid for by Rove. To add insult to injury FOX is merely the icing on the cake or red meat for the most mean spirited of the rabid right wing rulers.

We (progressive and those for truth) have no voices save for tidbits that the less astute moderators on CSPAN's Washington Journal allow us to call in and say on air.

We have no voice in the main stream media. Our only hope is that Air America radio and the foreign news services get the story out there so strong that the whores of the USA MSM cannot ignore the craze.

49. So what if McClellen is gay?
There is danger in playing the same "gay joke" crap with Gannon as there is with Scotty. There's plenty of other things to pin on these bastards.

54. The only people NOT surprised by this revelation
I expect the only people who saw something like this coming were the bonafide WH press corps. Anytime "Gannon" spoke, it was not a question, but a real dramatic performance to accompany his exhortations that Bush is always right, and anyone who disagrees with him is deluded. Gannon was openly contemptuous of the other members of the press. I don't think I was the only person to find his behavior disturbing -- listen to the press conferences and you can hear people laughing at him, sighing deeply, and maybe a whispered "Oh gaaawd..." because he was so unprofessional, and out of line in a situation like this. I truly doubt he mixed with "his colleagues" vey much, because they were professionals and he was not -- hence, "Gannon" spends him time with HIS real peers, the right wing wackos at Free Republic and held court with them

"Gannon" was clearly an exception, and clearly was a Bush loyalist that could disrupt press conference in a way freepers would greatly admire; the bonafides knew SOMEONE was protecting him there and I bet there was a lot of talk about him. I think in time one of these bonafides will come forth and speak out about their observations of this guy, their impressions of him.You bet they wondered what he was about and the ambivilency of his daily press access card, which was not meant to be used day to day by someone who lived in the area. The guy was unstable enough to raise eyebrows and suspicions, and I bet many had real security concerns about this little known guy who is always so histrionic when he speaks -- can we trust him not to go postal on us, or even the president.?

These people are pretty god about spotting wacky shit generally and no doubt can see it in their "colleagues". They watched the access and the interactions between Bush and Scotty and "Gannon" had must have a private theories about what was going on.

I am sure they are reading the "Gannon'Gate blogs with great interest and often shock and horror -- especially that "Gannon" still kept up his day job as a domination whore on weekends even while he pursued a "journalist" career among them as a "peer" reporter.

56. I think it would be valuable to collect all of his questions...
...verbatum from every press conferences when he asked a question.

Is it all obtainable from public transcripts?

Anyone want the research project of a lifetime?

Go make a website containing all the Questions that Jeff Gannon has ever asked, you have HITS GALORE in a few days.

I have no time.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised. I've long suspected Fred "godhatesfags" Phelps to be a screaming closet case, too. Freud would have had a field day...

68. Hey, no joke ...
Don't insult our beloved pups!!!

My sentiments: Dear Lord, Please make me be the person that my dog THINKS I am.

Our pets, especially IMO our K9s, deserve our care and protection against abuse.

It's horrible to think that people would abuse animals as such (bestiality = animal abuse) ... but please don't make it EVEN worse by introducing that RW slime's name into the mix. :puke:

61. Lame Duck is reputed to have favored guys himself
There are various rumors circulating online that LD has some "history" with guys - I frankly don't know if it's true -- but it would be in keeping with some of this other nonsense and his extreme animosity towards gays (as in guilty conscience and coverup).

Ever read "The Voice of the White House" over on The Truth Seeker> While it gives me a grin, I'm really not sure of his veracity. May just be a wannabe "Deep Throat" of this Administration.
