he didn't allow Blitzer to shortcut him or divert him from the real issue, that of the lack of diplomatic leadership in the bush admin. Damn, that man is sooo good at breaking down a complex situation into something we all can understand, it is a rare gift, imo!

It sure sounded like 08 is not off his agenda either which is great too, imo.

Not only does Wes know what he's talking about...he manages to look cool, calm and collected while imparting words of wisdom. :) Blitzer is not in the same league...his tactics don't work with someone who can talk about all sides of an issue and see the bigger picture!!!
