Apparently Kinsolving is another plant that the WH loves to sprinkle into the press pool.


LES KINSOLVING is the nation's only talk show host who is also a White House correspondent, as well as a movie actor. Talkers, the trade magazine of the nation's 1,400 talk radio stations and 4,200 talk radio hosts, named Les to the top 100 ("The Heavy Hundred") each year from 1997 to 2004, with Editor Michael Harrison commenting: "Les' daring demeanor makes him dangerous to his foes and unpredictable to his audience, and that is what great radio is about. 12/14/01- Les asked White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer about Attorney General John Ashcroft's approval ratings and Sen. Leahy's leaky past.

10/30/01- Les asked White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer about New York Times Columnist William Saffire's column on hunting down the terrorists and a congresswoman who had to make an apology.

This is a very serious situation here. It's not just Gannon and it not just Les. The WH is blatantly controlling the MSM and what does and does not get discussed. This is about the White Propaganda Machine. This is about how Bush and Rove are destroying our country and these guys are just pawns in the grand scheme of things. Forget about Gannon's personal sex life. This scandal goes directly to the top. Rove and Bush's sex lives are much more interesting, I'm sure.

5. Kingsolving isn't there now - heart attack

He's not at the press briefings - he is recovering from a heart attack. In fact, it appears they replaced Kinsolving with Gannon when this happened.

6. Never liked him

but I don't think he is a plant. He has or had a syndicated talk show and he was at the Clinton White house and possibly others. He prides himself on asking obnoxious (my word) questions and brags about it on his show. I used to listen to his show (and others, but never Rush) when I coud stand the right wing morons rantings, something I cannot do anymore, so what I know is a couple + years old.

7. Just because some has been in the business for a long time

doesn't mean that they aren't a shill or a plant.

Besides, when did he get into the WH Press Pool? His archives start at Sept. 2001 after the 9-11 attack. That's about the time BushCo went into high gear to get their message out. Seems Les was probably one of their go to guys.

8. He is definitely a right wing

no holds barred proponent of all things Bush. No doubt. But he was in the press corps during the Clinton years. Gave Lockhart a hard time and perhaps McCurry as well.
