The WH and the Media are going nuts about Syria today -- maybe this is why

JERUSALEM -- Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said Tuesday he has been informed by President Vladimir Putin that Russia will go ahead with the sale of anti-aircraft missiles to Syria, despite Israel's misgivings.

Sharon said he was unhappy about Russia's decision. Israel fears that the missiles will reach militant groups in Lebanon.

"We are not pleased with the sales of weapons to Syria," Sharon told a news conference.

Sharon said Putin had promised him in a meeting more than two years ago that the missiles would not be sold to Syria. Sharon said he has not yet seen Putin's letter, received Tuesday, but said he understood that "they are going to sell that kind of weapon to the Syrians."

and Syria is actually a country that has supported terror groups, unlike Iraq.

I wouldn't support any military action against Syria, but Israel is not at fault here one bit.

5. Prime Minister Sharon...

This is the ruler of Israel, "indirectly but personally responsible" for the 1982 massacre of 800-2000 Palestinian refugees in Lebanon...as found by an Israeli tribunal. What a shock that the Israeli's would elect such a man Prime Minister and keep him in that position for years.

Enough already! I fully support Israel as a nation-state and believe that the nation should not have to endure the insanity of terrorism. However, electing someone that was associated with this atrocity by his own government is over the line.

Time to stop subsidizing Israel and its offensive choice for PM.

Good for Russia and for Syria! The US is no longer the world's "super power". The world knows it, just the poor "citizens" of the US don't.

If Putin turns out to be a dangerous character I may be forced to re-think my support for Bush's statements such as "Mission Accomplished", "Weapons of Mass Destruction" and "Iraq's links to 9/11"!!!! Say it aint so.

Oh Yeah. I guess "No Draft" is out the window too.
