2006... senate and congress races
is there a list of which races will be up again in 06... and which, at this time, may be contested(close)?

Thanks for any help.

2. All House seats, as always.
The State forums are the best places to get opinions on which districts we can oust Repukes from.

3. Here in Iowa
rumors are running rampant that Nussle (R) 1st district is going to run for Governor. If he does( he has already started fund raising), there will be an interesting battle right here. A guy named Mike Whalen has already declared that he will seek the seat if Nussle vacates it. Whalen is a repub and backed by the rnc, as he is working with the administration to rip off...er change the Social Security system. Bill Gluba, who opposed Nussle last year has already stated he is going to run again. Davenport and Dubuque are both Democratic areas and are bigger cities in the district. This one will be worth watching.
By the way, Whalen owns a restaurant chain called "Heart of America Restaurants" which serve some very good food, but which no longer will be patronized by this Democrat. There are restaurants in Iowa, Illinois and Kansas, and most likely other Midwest states as well. I am going to research this and will post about this later if I can.
