Why does Al Franken keep letting his dittohead pal spout shit on the air?

I've sent Franken many emails to drop this dittohead segment, but he keeps letting this moron on the air every day. If I want to hear a defense of Limbaugh, I'd watch Faux News.

I guess Franken thinks that giving his friend air time highlights what a moron Limbaugh is. However, he's only helping to reach more people with Limbaugh's ranting and letting his imbecile friend defend it.

Jeez, it's going to be a long month without Randi.

Franken has three hours of air time. Why would he throw away three seconds of that important time on the dittohead? Liberals get little enough air time compared to the Rethug noise machine.

Listen to Randi Rhodes when she gets a call from a wingnut. She's great at grinding their arguments into dust. Al lets his friend off easy.

Al Franken knows that most of his listeners have ditto head relatives, co-workers, or neighbors and they all spout the same talking points that they've absorbed. So Franken is helping us deal with Rush's minions by rebutting their arguments and modeling how to talk to them. And since keeping up with right wing lies is a full time job, he puts Mark Luther (or whatever his name is) on daily.

while i think franken is a bit soft, i do think there is a place for him and his approach on AAR. It appeals to a lot of people who are not sure of their philosophy. Molloy is my dessert every night, but I don't know if it would be good to have his intensity all day.
