Falwell on Crossfire this afternoon threaten any repug who
voted against King Blivet's agenda. I know they are infamous for threatening to take out any Dems that don't toe the line (Falwell "It would be wise for people to remember what happened to Daschle.")

He was talking about judicial appointments, said he was "promised" that if the Dems didn't get on board that Frist would push the "nukela"r button and do away with the filibuster. Said he was "promised." Begalia said it would never happen, that moderates on the repug side wouldn't let it happen. Falwell, "Well, they had better." Just one 30-minute long threat to any and all people who aren't on board with Falwell's and the religious Nazis agenda. Scary.

Anybody still amazed at the gall of this bunch of dimwits?

1. Well, he keeps getting bookings...
Apparently the public wants to see "Assholes Gone Wild", and won't wait for the DVD.

16. You are right about that. Howard will 'call him out'
if he gets in his face.

Of that, I am certain

9. That puffed-up Blowfish is getting so fat,
He's starting to look a lot like Jabba the Hut. After what Falwell and his kind did to Clinton, that Blowfish has the nerve to whine about poor little Shrub's treatment. Blowfish Falwell gets even more repulsive with every day that goes by.

14. And that is one sin in the Bible that is addressed very directly.
Gluttony is a sin, plain and simple. This is another example of cafeteria Christianity where they just pick and choose what they want.

18. The so called Holy Falwell also...
Wanted Shrub to bomb the hell out of and kill people in Iraq too and I'm sure Blowfish Falwell has a lot of money in the bank, so how is he a man of God again? Oh yea, cause he says so and everything must be done all his way. Who were we having a Holy War, I mean War on Terror, against....

Oh yea, that guy who says he is so religious and wants everything done his way, bin Laden.

20. HIs most egregious sin is USING God for personal profit and power.
That would violate the 2nd commandment: Thou shall not hold the Lord Thy God's name in vain.

Falwell USES God for vanity, for profit, for power.

To me, Falwell is just a horrible freak of human nature that gets attention in the circus of global power-hounds.

7. I am a little confused
How do they go about doing away with the filibuster anyway? Change the rules of order? And don't the Dems get a say in this?

8. Remember what happened? Anthrax? Or what?
Begala should have told Falwell to remember what happened to Rasputin.

What the hell is this crooked preacher doing on CNN making threats? I feel like I'm dreaming; stuff like this doesn't happen in real life.

19. As long as Falwell keeps representing Repug thought, we're good to go
He always oversteps...and there is no better person to run ads on what Repugs think in 2006 ads...

Keep it coming, Jerry. Jesus thinks you're a jerk.

21. Why in the hell does Falwell get face time on TV???
the man is the very voice of hate while hiding behind his bastardized version of the bible and yet people listen to him anyway. He's as legitimate as the KKK for cryin' out loud and now he's threatening the careers of those who disagree with the war president?

All I know is that we Democrats have been WAY to nice to the guy. It seems like our party is far more reluctant to fight against someone if s/he claims to be religious.

Therefore, he doesn't represent "true" Christianity.
