BushCountry.org - Another one bites the dust

Bushcountry.org is one of those sites I like to check in on now and then to see what the bad guys are up to. In their archives are a lot of articles from one of my favorite wackos, Jeremy Reynalds of Talon News. Reynalds is the fellow who was making up a lot of the 'noise' last year that was triggering some of the terror alerts. It's a shame that one of my favorite 'resources' is going to disappear soon. I can't imagine that it would have anything to do with the Gannon scandal?

Special Notice

It is with great difficulty and sadness that BushCountry has made the decision to discontinue publishing BushCountry.org as of February 5, 2005

The site will remain visible for the remainder of February, 2005 but will not be updated.

Our shutting down of bushcountry.org is for a number of reasons, the main one being the cost of maintaining the site. The revenue generated from the store and advertising has not been enough to cover our maintenance costs and salaries. We had hoped Bush Country would have been more profitable thus allowing us to continue and make a difference to the conservative cause.

We have had a presence on the Internet for almost five years with visitors in the five figures range per month. We know that over the last five years we made an impact in furthering the conservative cause. Bush Country cannot thank our regular visitors enough for their past patronage.

Jeremy Reynalds was/is a Talon writer.
Johnathan Galt is connected to Free Republic where he had intercourse with Jeff Gannon.
Johnathan Galt and his wife spend a lot of time ferreting out "Islamacist" websites online. The provenance of said websites is often most curious and these websites are rarely, if ever,
afiliated with actual real-life practising Muslims.
