5. Where did you get a poll with 44%?
I would think the Real numbers would be more like 10% favorable, or less

9. I haven't yet read it, but I've heard the reviews
that's one of the dumbest quotes I've heard lately. Like saying "we want to bring about the new 'Birth of a Nation'.":eyes:

10. Do they really think the Jethros will vote for a black woman?
Colin Powell wanted to run in '96 and the party people put the nix on it (as well as his wife who thought he would be shot).

13. I don't believe the Reps are serious about this for one second...
The Reps are not serious about Condi as president in 08.

They're having problems with people generally accepting her as a "stand-up gal." She's seen as a Bush tag-a-long doll, that repeats Bushisms when you pull the string that's located on her back.

Everyone knows she's weak. She's no Madeline Albright, that's for sure--and everyone knows it. She's a former staffer who rose in the ranks by being a good girl and by kow towing to Chimpy.

ChimpCo is leveraging her as an 08 candidate to legitimize her and make her appear more powerful than she is.

Why else would CNN be touting this notion all day? It's certainly not coming from Americans or from other media outlets.

It's coming from the White House, where it goes into the CNN anchor microphones, which are connected to Karl Rove's hiney.

It's propaganda--from the same people who gave us the 8+ cut manslut who lobs softball questions to the president during briefings.

14. Sounds like a distraction from the Gannon story......
Hell will freeze over before the Republican Party nominates a black woman
for President.

17. I'd guess that 60% of Repugs would sit out the election if she was nominee
Hmmm...Go Condi!

I'd be willing to be a mole staffer for her just so the Repugs lose by 20% in 2008. But there is no WAY IN HELL Repugs will nominate her. They'd whisper "A n*gger with HER finger on the button?"

19. Dems should ignore this.
Anything negative about her will only draw backlash. Let the Fascists run her. In 3 years who the Hell knows what things will be like? Running her down does not profit the Left one bit.

18. GOOD LUCK and NOWAY! her role in the Iraq situation and NOW the Iran/
Syria thing is going to be made public at some point and time. while she's real good at answering technical questions about countries around the world, she NEVER answers for herself, NEVER! That isn't going to look too good for her "presidential run" and no matter what it looks like there are WAY too many racists in her own party to get her LEGALLY elected to that position!
