2. I sure hope Dr. Dean has been studying international affairs!

As much as I like Dean and agree with him about Iraq, his remarks on international issues have often not seemed as clear and well-informed as I would hope. I hope he really studies up well for this debate--and thanks to the internet, we have plenty of ways to study the whole world whenever we're online!

4. The debate was last night. Dean did quite well, I hear.

Dean is the chair of the DNC now, and they have warned him off setting policy. He had a lot to say last night.

5. I think if he'd made some hideous gaffe it would be all over the media.

The silence on the right makes me think that Perle got his behind bruised.
