Where will we go?
Befor I go further let me air that I hope and pray that we will become a stronger democracy once people have woken up. Much like the people of Germany people are slowly waking up now to the fact that they are being lied to and that real news is being ignored by their news.

We have a right and duty to be scared and stand against this person who has managed to brainwash out children into thinking that the bill of rights is 'too extreme' by allowing things like people to express unpopular opinions or to dissent.

The opressive fascism flavor of the United States that all too many historians recognized from the many imitations of other fascist regimes since 9-11 from the patriotism-victim flag tour to the political control over access to government doctors. The evidence has mounted terrifically. I suspect that much like with Germany our people will claim to be ignorant of how far reaching these actions have been until they are forced to see them. Let us not teach our children that these things don't happen if you trust in your government.

We fought more than two hundred years ago for the idea that the government should be for the people, by the people and with the people. This is not a Nation for the Government and Corporation, by the People and for personal greed and gluttony.

This is a nation where we are free to worship as we choose without a state sponsored religion that was made primarily by christians. We were not made to be a nation for christians by christians, but a nation where the moral direction that Jesus taught was the rule, as can be assertained by reading Jefferson's papers.

We are a people who cannot even compete with the education of countries that are less powerful and have less money per capita. Yet we have a literacy rate that brings our country below some second world nations. Yet again this is attributed to the same problem, greed and sloth.

The Republicans have told us that we should keep out money, but that we should 'be active' with lip service commercials while teaching us that we can solve our problems by getting rid of 'students who don't want to learn' an excuse made in the 50s to keep people out of schools. Ironically though.

Republicans are correct at the base, our educational system is broken, but throwing money at it and teaching our children to pass a test is not educating them, it is not teaching them to think, it is teaching them to reply as told and think. Woe be the sciencetist, artist, or inventor who is never taught that one can think outside of the box and still be intelligent but rather is taught that thinking against the popular opinion is dangerous and wrong for they may very well become something far more malicious as a result.

We have but one choice, to stand together as Democrats to stop these bullies, which is exactly what they are, Political Bullies. One encourages a bully by not standing up to them, they take a lack of wanting confrontation as a lack of willpower and weakness. The way to treat a bully is the same from a schoolyard to the political arena, you stand up to them and stand together against them telling them that their antics are unacceptable.

If we want our country back we need to push the news, form a deep grass roots campaign and be persistant and strong against these bullies. With 2006 we must take back the House and Senate or surely we will lose our country. We must stand as one or we will be forced to wait for rescue from a foriegn power much the way the Germans were rescued from themselves.
