4. The odd political cartoon has been brutal on Novak. Or maybe he

worries the bloggers will go after him next. There have been rumours about what exactly is the reason why he doesn't have to reveal his sources. Did he take the 5th? (which would mean he comitted a crime he didn't want to incriminate himself on). Or did he give up his sources. That is what bloggers are asking.

Mob Rule on the blogs and all would be scary? I mean he has had a long career and for it to end like the other famous reporters did (gannon)

Just FYI, William Casey was CIA Director during the Reagan/Bush Administration. He died 2 days before he was to testify about his and others' involvement in the Iran/Contra scandal.

If Novak gets a subpoena, I'm thinking his days are numbered, and by his own people.

William Joseph Casey (March 13, 1913 - May 6, 1987) was the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency from 1981 to 1987.

A native of Queens, New York, Casey graduated from Fordham University (1934) and St. John's University School of Law (1937). Casey directed the successful presidential campaign of Ronald Reagan in 1980. After Reagan was elected president, he named Casey to the post of Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
