The great irony is that conservatives talked about the potential for blackmail during the Monica Lewinsky scandal and how an affair could supposedly jeapordize national security.

Well, here it's pretty clear that someone tapped Gannon for preferential treatment due to sexual favors. The man was a gay male prostitute, pornographer. And given the right's attitude on both homosexuality, prostitution and especially pornography, it's a pretty easy supposition that White House officials would not wave this guy in unless he had something on them.
