Bush on Gore: "I may have to get a little rough for a while,"
"I may have to get a little rough for a while," he told Mr. Wead, "but that is what the old man had to do with Dukakis, remember?"

That sentence, not the ones about pot, about Forbes, or the Christian Coalition is the most important sentence in the article. Why? Because Chimp unwittingly said something very perceptive, because his tone, that of a father keeping a teenager in line shows he knew it would work.

And sure enough, the JudoChessers who run and staff the democratic party played their inimitable game in 2000 just like chimp knew they would. Chimp got rough. We know the result. The same judochessers ran 2002, and 2004. Chimp got swift boat rough. "HaaaaaYAaaaaa, it's Judo Chessn Time," said the judochessers.

Reid, Pelosi, and Dean have not gotten rid of these 0-4 losers. You heard it here first: If they don't clean house we'll lose in 06 and 08.

We send them letters on every issue under the sun. Shouldn't they here from us on the most importat issue of all?

1. LOLOL!! How funny, coming from the "rough trade" administration!
Referring, of course, to the administration's cozy relationship with Lance(ha ha) Corporal Jimmy-Jeff Guckert-Gannon. (I have no idea what rank Guckert held in the Marines; I just thought "Lance Corporal" sounded like a good designation for him.)

2. Help me out here.
What does Judo Chessn mean? Is it some kind of game or something?

The only thing Google comes up with is this:

"ChessN Pro is an excellent game viewer for chess games which have been saved in ... of basic chess positioning and movement exercises much like in karate or judo"

18. It's a long story. Judo Chess refers to
a debate that waged on DU late last summer. Many Duers, including your truly, expressed our concern as the days without a response to the Swift Boat Liars ticked by.

As the chorus of despair at the inaction of Team Kerry and the DNC reached fever pitch on Du and many blogs, as many high profile dems came forward to express their bewilderment at the Kerry Kidz losing the election for their boss, the campaign and the DNC found it necessary to dispatch some poor, hapless operatives onto Democratic message boards and blogs to do damage control.

Along with attacking fellow dems instead of the swiftboaters, these operatives explained to us Neanderthals that not responding to Rove's attacks were actually a mysterious form of smart politics, which they monikered "Political Judo" and "Political Chess" and the "Rope-A-Dope."

As a loyal DUer, I was flattered to learn through the grapevine that one of the more shrill posters sent to DU turned out to be a was a fairly high mid-level Kerry staffer/consultant.

Despite their bizarre scramble to defend and hold on to their "strategic" influence, their boss marginalized the "judo chessers" and brought in operatives less inclined to grab their ankles and far less accustomed to losing. Sadly, by that time it was too late.

My post laments the fact that many, if not most, of the architects of 2004 judo chess, as well as Gore's wacky campaign and the 2002 slapping we took at the hands of the GOP are still in place in key positions--the DNC as staff and consultants, Reid's "rapid response" operation, Pelosi's press shop. Many of them probably fully expect to be involved with most of our 2006 campaigns. If their expectations are realized we will lose again, and again, and again, and again.

Mark my words.

3. Why does no one ask, "where's Carville"?
I am a former Clinton-hater. (Nowadays I wish Clinton were back in the White House RIGHT NOW.) So I know what the talk was among the Clinton-haters who helped Bush to almost win in 2000. Carville had an almost legendary status with those repukes, being referred to most often as "Carvile". (Rush the addict called him "Serpent Head.) Oooooh, that Carville, with his dirty tricks! "The politics of personal destruction"! "Here, ruining people is considered sport!" Blah blah blah.

Why can't Carville come back now and go head-to-head with this fat pig Rove? A "serpent" can take down a pig if he has enough venom!

7. Oh shit! You're kidding! Oh, hell... a paid
propagandist is a paid propagandist, I guess!

Well, this is instructive for those of us who despise Rove. Rove is still nothing more than a paid propagandist--which means, if the money were right, he'd be out there praising John Kerry. (Not that Kerry would be benefitted by having such a despicable shill in his corner.)

I should've learned something from looking at the career of Dick Morris.

13. Oh, are you saying it's actually Matalin who is trying to get Chavez
ousted? Yes, I know she's one of the repukes' shills, but is ol' Carville actually working for the repukes/fascists, or is he just involved b/c he's married to HER?

16. Oh, okay. He's a paid shill then, nothing more. Did you know, however,
that the right wingnuts all say that the marriage of those two toads proves that MATALIN "is a liberal masquerading as a conservative"?

I mean, that marriage just shows, I think, that some people have no real, deeply-held political beliefs. They can put said views, etc., aside, and not think of them at all, when they are at home. Paid shills, both of them!

6. I disagree.
His statement that we had to have an American Flag flying overseas and not the UN tells just how far he had planned.
