The truth about Plame leaks, the Jeff Gannon story, the "secret" tapes, etc? Because we are being stonewalled and flim-flammed. They are covering up the facts - very efficiently, I might add - otherwise, we would not have to sit around guessing about all this crap that should be public information. The shucksters in the White House are confident they can do whatever the hell they please and get away with it. Just a meager .02 cents.

and without a free press you can't have a democracy.

If the press did their duty, the press would do the investigations, instead of us with our limited resources and the facts of these stories would be common knowledge.

We don't have a press that actually investigates and reports. It has come to being to politically biased or supporting the hand that feeds them.
