USA-Next hiring SBVT advisors to go after AARP
The GOP hit punks are back. The same people who promoted the "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth" racket have been picked up by an anti-AARP group called "USA-next".
For those of you who don't know, USA-Next (www.usanext.org) is a hard-right anti-Social Security group that has been diseminating anti-AARP propaganda, including the false idea that an AARP poll was biased. They're going full-tilt at attacking the AARP as "too liberal".

their members.

Please note that there is an intense amount of wishful thinking in the above sentence...

3. That's what I'm thinking..
.... seniors are already pissed at the AARP over the Medicare bill. The AARP cannot afford more erosion of their cred so they are going to sit tight on SS.

Bush** is frittering away his tiny majority with the transparently bad legislation he wants. He's not going to get it, and he's going to lose support for even trying for it.

7. The Swifites are ripe for a fucking backlash--this should do it
Fucking over social security is not popular with anyone--the Dems (if they are smart) will ride this one to victory.
