Is Gannongate proof enough that we need a Shadow Government
by the Democrats and Independents in Congress ? As Joseph Welch said during the Army-McCarthy hearings to McCarthy "Have you no shame ?" The MSM and Bush Co. are now shown to have no shame.

MSM gives cover and blowback protection and Dems are ridiculed on newly "leaked" tapes re drug use (all the while Bush never answers on his own coke problem from his addled youth) with Al Gore getting slammed !

Dems need to do the work of restoring trust again in our government. Operation Mockingbird media manipulation and military domestic psy-op disinformation/propaganda designed to shore up a flagging wartime policy, now a quagmire called Iraq, are eroding trust in government.

Accountability and common sense can restore Dems and honest Republicans trust again. Or we can keep going down the downhill road we are on.

1. We need some way to have a nation-wide vote of no confidence.
Or something along similar lines. We have to show the world, the government, and the media that we know what is happening and that we won't abide it. I'm not sure how to go about this, but as a first step toward rebellion, it is a way to frame our opposition in a way that cannot be ignored and as a means of drawing the lines and setting things into motion.

2. I keep thinking of that quote from Jos. Welch during the ArmyMcCarthy
hearings

""What else do you have to do to prove to people that the Administration lied its way into war? I mean, really, what do you have to do to wake people up? Doesn't anybody care? Is there no shame? Is there no one to ask the question of George Bush, "Have you no sense of decency, sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?"""
