Interesting how pukes circle the wagons on the Gannon deal
It wasn't like this before the election. Now Bush and the Bush administration can do no wrong.

This story smells, yet all questions are met with tirades about the liberal bias of the media. If this administration buys the media and uses things like this to sway the public (and we have several verifiable examples of this now), then how is it any different than their reviled "Pravda"?

Why is the average puke defending this? What the hell is in it for them? The average puke is acting like nothing is wrong, and they don't have to ask any questions. I think there is a lot to these questions, and it is perhaps the most interesting part of this whole mess.

1. Yeah, it's almost like they know something the rest of us don't.
The denial is almost absolute. The pugnacious scowl that says, "no matter what is discovered, the God-King can not be touched!". IT is freaking scary...

5. You give them potentially more credit than I do.

I don't think the average puke is that cognizant of what they're doing. If they were, they wouldn't be doing it.

I think they should have their noses rubbed into this. In fact that is what I am doing.

methodologies and operating principles and systems identical to those used by communist and socialist founders.

Each of us should do what we can to explain this fact to anyone we can find to listen.

Bush/Cheney IS the soul of Fascism. (Sorry about the subj/verb disagreement, but maybe the subject is actually singular.)

3. They are all standing there trying to "wish" it away.
Sort of like a two year old standing there with his fingers in his ears saying "I can't hear you, I can't hear you," and then suddenly after you say well I guess you don't want ice cream then..."ice cream? I love you mommy." We just need to figure out what their favorite flavor is. or I guess there is the other scenario. Mom says "well I guess you can sit in time out until you decide to learn how to listen then." Suddenly the child says "I'll be good Mommy, I promise." Connect the dirt dots to all those currently sitting there with their fingers in their ears and they are going to change their tune!

4. They don't get to use the "liberal bias" excuse on this one
The SCLM has nothing to do with this story. This is unvarnished truth coming straight from people like us who are doing the job the media wouldn't do.

Any rightie who chooses to defend this needs to be asked why, if it's just an isolated event from a persecuted so-called journalist, anyone needs to be defending it. Rather, shouldn't we ALL be interested, in the pursuit of SECURITY and ensuring that our government can operate efficiently in spreading FREEDOM, in finding out how someone with a questionable background got into the White House -- not just into the press room, but into Christmas parties and at least one situation where he was close enough that the president embraced him?
