5. My letter to David Bauder the author

Sir:

in your Feb 21 article about Eason Jordan you write the following:

"Bloggers pressed forward and found evidence linking Guckert to online sites suggestive of gay pornography - a detail that many news organizations would have considered irrelevant."

I take umbrage at the description of "suggestive of gay pornography." My journalism professors would have told me to stick to the facts which show Mr. Guckert as offering himself up as a "top" for $1200 for the full weekend. This is gay prostitution and nothing less. You have changed it to something more akin to a description of being "a little bit pregnant."

Added to this the fact that any journalist worth his salt could have easily discovered links between Mr. Guckert, and "hot military studs," there is what I see to be a lack of sincerity on the part of the media. You are railing on the bloggers, but in reality they are doing the job that the media has reneged upon.

Just my opinion.

and inform them of the Gannon/Guckert situation. We need to perform this as a civic duty and inform our fellow 'merikins.

Greetings, your recent article mentions websites "suggestive of gay pornography", but if you are aiming at accuracy these were sites soliciting prostitution at the rate of $200. per hour or $1200. 'overnight'.

To any reader the mention of rates for sexual acts would indicate prostitution, an illegal act, and not merely "suggesting porn". Thank you.
