I can't see how he could have any, but I'm not a scholar of the current mindset of European leaders.

whatever they do will be in their own perceived best interests.
Judging from body language of those unfortunates who have had to endure photo-ops w/ * ....there is not a whole lot of feeling over there that * has nothing of any substance to say to them. There will indubitably be a few minor initiatives that the bushites will proudly point to and break their arms patting themselves on the back with what a great leader he is...but fundamentally he is going to be rather innefective....which under the circumstances is the best we can hope for.

have of convincing you he was harmless? He might come slithering up real nice, acting very courteous maybe even a little snake smile on his little snake face, rattlers quiet. Would you trust it? Would you pick it up and pet it?

That's as much chance as I give bush in Europe. They are well aware of the man's nature. They'll humor him, perhaps make a few meaningless concessions, but in the end, they're going to leave the snake alone.
