Those stupid Europeans need to "get over it"....
We're in the mess we're in and we need to figure a way to get out of it. It does no good to point fingers. So what if we fucked up and killed a lot of innocent people and invaded a country with no weapons of mass destruction and no Army to speak of, is that any reason to still be mad at us? Look, we're sorry! OK! Now get the hell on board and stop acting like children. OK? <sarcasm off>

1. I don't think anyone has even said the word "sorry"
have they? Of course I am hindered from knowing everything because of my inability to listen to the chimpinator's speech for more that a few seconds. To me it seems that they are saying to Europe that they HAVE to go along now, regardless. Not too diplomatic, is it.

In the "strict father" model, the "father" never has to apologize to the "children"! :eyes:

9. You have to acknowledge a mistake to be sorry for.
They have yet to admit making any mistakes, so their not sorry for anything (except maybe sorry that they have to travel across Europe having to suck up to all those pansy, spineless Europeans. I'm sure * & Co. would rather just say f*ck 'em all)

2. That was about right, except for the "we're sorry" part....
Bushco never admits mistakes, and never, ever, says "sorry." Which, of course makes sense, because they are not one bit sorry about any of the atrocities they've committed, and continue to commit.

3. * NEVER said he was sorry -
heard him this morning stating that Iraq was the only disagreement he had with Europe during his entire first term. Other than that, everything was fine! And why ruin a perfectly good relationship over one disagreement?
It was funny listening to him justify the invasion by referencing the UN resolutions - of course, they were dependent on WMDs - of WHICH THERE WERE NONE.
None of the reporters asking questions afterwards mentioned WMDs though. I'm sure they were given their orders.

4. nice one...
..crosses my mind every time I read European News. My friends are starting to hate me for moving here and leaving Europe. Although, they have their own baggage!

<sarcasm on> hey, wtf, I was nice yesterday, forget about my bullying last week. I am nice now. A bit manic depressive, but that's what the drugs are for. The bipolar, I got under control, I think. The pills I take for that I great, man! Comeon guys, I am your Marlboro Man, I don't understand, why you don't love me anymore?! <sarcasm off>

8. That's exactly what Bush's "conciliatory" speech in Europe sounded like
to me....He scolded and lectured and then assumed the Europeans would come aboard to bale him out of the mess he had made! :puke:

11. I know I'd feel that way if I were them
Calling them "old Europe" as if that is somehow bad! Freedom Fries--and yesterday he said how his first meal in Europe was going to be in France. Hey what about the Freedom Fries insult, Mr. Prez??? Take it back! Can we say Flip Flop??
