BBC journalist's diary of the bush Europe visit
To Nato and the Bush news conference.

The president is wonderfully un-European - refreshingly so in the view of those of us who have worked in Brussels.

He is unsmooth. He stumbles over his sentences. He uses short, plain, sometimes almost babyish words, while the sophisticated multilingual Euro crowd prefer obfuscatory long ones.

And he gets a clear message across, like it or not. He has no need of spin.

It was interesting that on the White House bus back into town, the journalists did not need to compare notes or discuss the president's words and what they meant.

He reminds me of a 10 year old kid trying to fill in for his dad on "kid's day" at work.

4. Yep -- I was just thinking that we (the people) should sue Yale
and Harvard.

What they did by "giving" him a degree based on his last name -- was to support a liar and a fraud.

He may be an idiot savant at dirty politics -- but he isn't smart enough to get a college degree.

I went through college at about the same time he did -- and I had to work hard for my degree -- and I am an authentic dyslexic. He is NOT dyslexic -- he is lazy with a less than average IQ. He has a flair for using his last name and for being a bully and he has brought these talents to the world stage.

Then what if he has a major league blackmail going on . . . . using the services of Gannon -- who slipped into Mainstream Media circles via his ticket to WH press conferences??????

In Europe the sex stuff would be out in the open (except perhaps for England -- and is THIS what Bush is holding over Blair????)

Also -- this diary pointed out the fact of bush's low intelligence -- bush has no comprehension of the consequences of his actions. He goes on his "gut" -- first reaction -- and does not have the intellectual capability of considering various options and outcomes. Someone like this would NEVER have made it through a top level college -- he wouldn't have made it through the first semester. There is no way that he could write well reasoned and logical papers on his own. He is DUMB -- crushingly stupid.

O.K. end of rant.

5. Yale and Harvard have become social clubs for the good, old
boys. I doubt they deserve their reputations today.

3. lol
the journalists did not need to compare notes or discuss the president's words and what they meant.

Maybe because they've learned from experience that Bush's words have no relationship to his actual intent?

THAT'S BECAUSE HE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING THAT MEANT ANYTHING! he has nothing BUT SPIN. his use of language poisons every word he utters. he stumbles because he has no respect for communication or English.

how can that NOT be clear to you, european ninny?
