The National Guard isn't the same today as in the 60's; these guys are carrying the burden of 2 or 3 tours in a row in Iraq without any indication of when they'll be able to go back home.

On the other hand, the chickenhawk who wanted this war because "Saddam tried to kill my daddy" ducked out of his National Guard responsibilities & has no firsthand idea what it was like in Viet Nam.

I guess we can now break out the designer dresses and Jimmy Choos. She and her daughters sure have. After all, there's only, what, 2,000 or so dead Americans (and who knows how many more gravely injured and/or maimed,) as a result of her husband's mismanagement in Iraq and everything else he touches? Of course, this is on top of the 3,000 we lost on September 11th.

I would say that I'd like some of whatever it is she's on, but frankly, I'd rather not indulge. I'd like to keep my soul.
