Mein Kampf for Poles
Times
By Kamil Tchorek

Warsaw: Mein Kampf is to be republished in Poland as a cautionary reminder of Germany’s record in Eastern Europe.

The publisher XXL, which plans a print run of 2,000, has overcome objections from the state of Bavaria, which has rights over Hitler’s work. XXL claims that those rights do not extend outside Germany.

The publication of the book comes as some Germans are attempting to reclaim land in what is now Poland from where there parents and grandparents were expelled at the end of the Second World War.

Announcing publication, XXL said “the German dream of vast fertile lands and natural resources in the East” was a “1,000-year-old worry” for Poles.

1. Europeans should not want to re-open all the border adjustments
(so to speak) that occurred after WWII.

Like Russia's going to return all the land it got from Poland, and Italy and Slovenia are going to reopen its border mess. At some point, you just have to say 'enough'.

3. Actually, it would be fun to see all the Germans pushed back up
into Denmark and Sweden. (Of course, that's a highly sarcastic remark, and I deny having ever written it.)

Maybe the Sorbs can reclaim Berlin, since it was their cousin's land before the big German push to the east. (Of course, the previous inhabitants are gone and of unknown ethnicity, so there's no counterclaim).

4. Why not? It would give us grounds, and an excuse, to
give Texas back to Mexico.
