and thought it was a puff piece that skimmed the unavoidable, but totally ignored the larger issues involved in this mess: Who let him in? How did he get a Day Pass for two years? What was an ex-military male prostitute doing in the WH pretending to be a journalist? (I think it's ironic that for as much as the repugs claim to looooooove and support the troops, they don't get even a little worked up that someone could bring such "shame and dishonor" to the military with the names of his web sites, all the while using his Marine background in his bio) What are the security implications? How does he figure into the Plame case?
When interviewed, he answers the generally softball question with vagueness and then there isn't much follow-up to speak of. The interviewers seem to take him at his word.
I think of the numerous Congressional investigations and hearings into the Vince Foster death, as though the fate of the country depended on the finding out the "truth" - which was already obvious from the beginning - and I can't believe that THIS story is being so underreported and treated so lightly.
