I'm going to faint: Saxby Chambliss to join in on Guckert inquiry
a caller from Georgia on Ed Schultz just stated this.

He called Saxby's office today to gripe about Chambliss, and was told this.

I'll believe it when I see it.

1. Dear God/Holy Shit
I believe Hell just froze over.
But I'm gonna give ol' Saxby's office a call just because. I don't want them to feel neglected because I haven't called to bitch at them in a while :)

15. Exactly. No one is better placed to subvert some effort
than someone on the inside.

6. Isn't Saxby on the Senate Intelligence Committee?
But Saxby on Guckert inquiry? I, too, will believe it when I see it. That would be considered disloyal by the Bu$h regime, and they would destroy him the way they destroyed Max Cleland.

7. it might be a way to control the investigation
since they are the majority party they will have more power over the investigation as long as they participate and they can decide who is allowed to testify and who isn't and what gets brought up etc.

8. My thoughts, too.
They can "manage" it much better. Saxby can help leak info to Gannon's legal team. Last thing Saxby wants to discover is the truth.

9. I think they must have their limits on what they can support.
And apparently we've reached the breaking point.

10. hmmm. this may be thematic
saxby chambliss:

avoided vietnam because of bad knees
attacks people who served in vietnam

avoided guckert/gannon because of bad knees
attacks people who served guckert/gannon

is this a pattern, or am i reaching?

17. I too, willl believe it when finished and that fraud reporter is exposed..
It seems Loloitis has indeed gone Ebolaesque. It has morphed into a highly contagious strain and is rapidly infecting the Nation. Entire villages have fallen victim to this pathogen.

18. That's good, but also sad, in a way.
I'm glad to know that even idiots like Chambliss can only take so much, but saddened to know just how much 'so much' is.
