Gannongate: It's not the sex, it's the POWER of the PRIVILEDGED.

This is the real outrage. This is what most people are actually upset about, but just haven't been able to articulate it. This is about mega-rich assholes making a mockery of the press, of politics, of civil rights. This is the root cause of all the anger about JeffyJim and how he was able to prance into the White House Press Room and play patty cake with the Commander-in-chief, and how he got Karly Warly to whisper sweet nothings of shock and awe, and how he catilly spilled the beans about Ms. Plame and her escapades as a spook. I really believe that GannonGuckert was the metaphysical last straw that our collective progressive backs and got all to cry "FOUL!"

These rich-ass motherfuckers are running rough shod over our constitution, and as if we had all become an army of Howard Beale's over night, we all yanked our windows open, stuck our heads out, and shouted "We're mad as hell, and we're not taking it anymore!"

I don't know about you guys, but after seeing Dean get creamed with his own damn scream; watching Kerry/Edwards get pummmeled after hearing such encouraging exit poll reports; and listening to all those smug repugs go "na na na na na" during Inauguration coronation, I for one am one fed-up liberal yankee queer. I know that's where my outrage comes from. How 'bout you?

1. I couldn't agree more..........
but seemingly that threads that get the most attention deal with the sex angle.

Seems that sensationalism isn't limited to the Sheeple.

5. I am getting the distinct feeling that..........
the only place this 'scandal' will stick is in the blogosphere.

No one but us seems to give a damn.
