Behind the "Grand Game": Yankees vs Cowboys
I haven't seen this discussed so if it's a dupe ignore. Much has been written about the Goldwater inspired "right-wing" revolution but few mention that it is actually an old struggle between the military/technology/new oil money (Texas-California) and the East Coast/white shoe "Establishment". Did you know that Clinton most likely has Rockefeller blood in his veins and was "drafted" into working for the CIA? In short, the so-called "left" in this country has always been a scam.

Philanthropists at War
by Daniel Brandt

"More than fifty years ago the Morgan firm decided to infiltrate the Left-wing political movements in the United States. This was relatively easy to do, since these groups were starved for funds and eager for a voice to reach the people. Wall Street supplied both. The purpose was not to destroy, dominate, or take over but was really threefold: (1) to keep informed about the thinking of Left- wing or liberal groups; (2) to provide them with a mouthpiece so that they could "blow off steam," and (3) to have a final veto on their publicity and possibly on their actions, if they ever went "radical." There was nothing really new about this decision, since other financiers had talked about it and even attempted it earlier. What made it decisively important this time was the combination of its adoption by the dominant Wall Street financier, at a time when tax policy was driving all financiers to seek tax-exempt refuges for their fortunes, and at a time when the ultimate in Left-wing radicalism was about to appear under the banner of the Third International.<3>

It was this group of people whose wealth and influence so exceeded their experience and understanding, who provided much of the framework of influence which the Communist sympathizers and fellow travelers took over in the United States in the 1930s. It must be recognized that the power that these energetic Left-wingers exercised was never their own power or Communist power but was ultimately the power of the international financial coterie."

Puts the "neo-cons" supposed "conversion" in a whole different light.
Ironically, Quigley who was the first to expose the Left's infiltration was Clinton's favorite professor which attests to Slick Willie's rare intellect if not his character.

1. Yankee and the Cowboy War by Carl Oglesby
Also, speculation that Clinton's 1992 campaign was funded with much help of Jackson Stephen's money (actually BCCI money with a Stephen's conduit much like the Worthen Bank for W) as Rachel Ehrenfeld's book "Evil Money" shows (p.180).

If actually BCCI money, then read by implication CIA campaign financed money. Looks like there's a reason Bill and GHWB are such good buds today !

2. Iran/Contra was supposed to trim the cowboys feathers
my question remains: did Kerry soften the blow because the whole thing fizzled with the big boys left untouched. Of course the Bushies talent is being able to crossover at will (they know where all the bodies are buried)

3. The Forbes family is Brahmin as you can get as a Yankee
""From its investment in U.S. railroad corporations like the Chicago
Burlington & Quincy (CB&Q), which eventually became the Burlington Northern railroad company, the Boston Brahmin Forbes family acquired a lot of surplus wealth during the second half of the 19th-century. But much of the initial investment capital that John Murray Forbes invested in his U.S. railroad corporations apparently was derived from the Forbes family's involvement in the sale of opium to people in China, before and after the 1840 Opium War. As a 1981 dissertation by John Lauritz Larson, "John Murray Forbes and The Burlington Route," recalled"" from

So vestigial ties to the secret funds ?

4. thanks for that although I doubt that still existed.
How about this piece of trivia... In a tiny footnote to history, Ruth Forbes Paine Young's son, Michael R. Paine, and his wife Ruth Paine, allowed Maria Oswald, the wife of Lee Harvey Oswald, to live in their house as a family friend, and Oswald's rifle was stored for a time in the Paine's family garage.

With this grotesque new patriot act I fear we may be completely at the mercy of the oligarchs.

6. You nailed it, just like Mae Brussell did. And how about those ties
with Poppy back then too ? Also, the White Russian character assassins in Oswalds' Warren Report record is what set Mae off in the first place on Operaton Paperclip being exposed.

We couldn't have Ruth's NOC cover exposed even if we legally could...the agency will have to someday come clean on its own. It's just so frustrating getting to the truth even when the crumbs lead to their doorstep.

This is what you call a 'smoking gun' bit of evidence. BTW, Gerald Posner's book relied heavily upon Priscilla Johnson McMillan's book "Marina and Lee". Boy, check out her background...LOL ROFLOL !

5. I'll take the East-Coast establishment money
At least they are rich people who don't embarass the nation like the gold-plated hicks from Texas.
