Dear GOD, Fox is discussing Bush's "gloved handshake."
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,148743,00.html

BRATISLAVA, Slovakia — It was a firm presidential handshake. But technically speaking, since he didn't take off his gloves, President Bush (search) didn't press the flesh when he greeted top Slovak officials.

And that was an apparent violation of protocol in Slovakia (search), where leaders always shake with bare hands. The wardrobe malfunction caused a stir Wednesday night in Slovakia, where Bush's arrival for Thursday's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin (search) was shown live on national television.

Deana Lutherova, an expert in Slovak manners and protocol, said Bush's failure to remove his black leather gloves when greeting the country's president, prime minister and other dignitaries was unheard of here.

Bush kept the gloves on even when shaking hands with the Slovak leaders' wives. First Lady Laura Bush also remained gloved at Bratislava's airport Wednesday night, when the temperature was just above freezing.

1. Is the guy in the glasses feeling for Bush's wiring on his back?
Edited on Fri Feb-25-05 09:32 PM by rzemanfl
Why do his fingers appear to be vanishing? Are all pictures of Bush that show his back airbrushed to remove the hump?

6. There used to be Strict Rules of Protocol when visiting Dignitaries in
a foreign country...I guess this administration thinks they "rule the world" and "grossing out" folks is just fine with them.

Cheney's "fur lined parka," Condi's "Matrix/Dominatrix attire...and now this. Bush not only verbally assaults foreign leaders (he needs a good cowboy to Chirac) but neither of them can remove their gloves to touch the "flesh of furriners." How much cruder can they get! I don't want to know...sheesh!

14. Bush is really showing the aging that is going on with him. His
face seems old and thin.

What gets me with these repugs is that if they ever get to create the world that they want, they won't have a lot of years to live in it. Chaney is death warmed over yet he still supports the PNAC thing.

On NPR yesterday the referred to PNAC as a think tank.

17. I copied that photo and zoomed in on it
It really looks like he hurt it very bad. All sorts of bruising going on. I wonder how that could happen. Maybe he was beating his wife. Or maybe he was beating Laura.

I'm not Catholic, but I mean, come on... Oaf's a spoiled-rotten, jerk! Not long ago when he met the Pope, the overseas news reports taunted his disrespect for him.
