I've been listening to Joe Scarborough and Laura Ingraham trash the "liberal Hollywood elite" and why they hate religion and blah blah blah blah. Jack Valente had a good comback about hostiles that burn our flag and hate America, but they still love Hollywood and buy our movies.

Well, what about this?

Since this administration shipped most of our manufacturing jobs out of our country, Hollywood is still one of our greatest industries and source of global revenue, so by trashing Hollywood and boycotting its products, you are in effect acting completely - unAmerican.

tons of shows are made in canada , im sure if u looked up some of ur favorites they probably are.

oh, and its not just cause canada is cheaper...its just its the cheapest best location. canada has a diverse climate , and BC has alot in itself. beautiful beautiful country there in B.C.

Yup! Maryland has had more movies made here in recent years, too! The HILL has been slowly putting the squeeze on blue-state coastline states. Awww... they soon forget that we Northeaster's, and the west coast (and let's not forget MN and other Canadian border states) have the biggest, richest cities in this nation.

They're squeezing the life out of their own poor supporters. If we can get those poor bible-belt folks to realize this, maybe... well, forget that thought. The Oaf's cuts will hit them sooner then you think. Then, they'll get it.

Jesus, it's no different than what the Nazis did to their media and their cinema -- they hate any voice they can't control.

Not only that but IMO music & films are THE only reasons that the rest of the world has to have any kind of positive view of GWB-era Uh-Murka. Not only that but I agree with Helen Thomas that blue jeans and jazz had more to do with bringing down the Berlin Wall than any hot air coming from Ray-Gun.

Their problem with this community is they want the whole industrty to fall in line, and toe the line and that ain't gonna happen so they can keep hating us, I don't really care. You can't think inside these teeny-tiny perimeters and be creative anyhow. Why don't these idiots spending all this money on "anti-hollywood" billboards and protesting etc. actually MAKE a movie that doesn't SUCK and all their red state pals can go see it and they can have their own goddamn Oscars in Branson MO or somewhere. Because they CAN'T that's why.

That's the real problem with conservatives: no contrary opinions deserve to exist. It's the fundamental difference between liberalism and conservatism: coexistence versus tyrannical intolerance.

There are plenty of god-sucking movies and TV shows made, and I'd bet that if you did a strict analysis of all movies that made a stand on the subject of religion, there would be a fairly decent pro-religion or at least religion-neutral bias.

This is crap. These people need to be screamed at repeatedly that they're hog-wild haters of anything different and demand complete control of the world or they'll shriek like wounded animals until they crush any contrary beliefs.

THEY ARE SUPREMELY UN-AMERICAN by doing this; we are a pluralist and tolerant society and they hide behind their rectitude to destroy anything they don't like. They are the bad ones. They are morally, ethically and socially wrong.
