Poll question: Based solely on position and region, who is the best candidate?

All you know about this person is that he/she's a Democrat running for the WH, you know whether he/she is a congressman (senator or rep) or governor, and you know what region of the US he/she is from. Who do you choose?

I realize the regional classifications are a bit shaky, but I was limited by the room in the poll. It would help if you specified a subregion in a post (i.e. vote "Western Governor," but specify "west coast," or vote "Midwestern Congressperson," but specify with "Great Lakes region," or something like that).

Western - AK, HI, CA, OR, WA, NV, UT, ID, WY, MT
Southwestern - AZ, NM, CO
Southern - TX, LA, OK, AR, TN, KY, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, MS, AL
Midwestern - ND, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA, MO, WI, MI, IL, IN, WV, OH
Eastern/Northeastern - MD, DE, NJ, PA, NY, MA, CT, RI, VT, NH, ME

1. Tough Choice

I voted for SW Governor because I think COL, NM, NV could all go blue easily.

Midwestern governor was a close second, but the only midwestern state that could easily change blue (unless the candidate wins their home state) is Iowa and Ohio. Missouri, Nebraska, and the Dakotas are all pretty red.
