Case Closed on Robbery


Last week I wrote that the case against the IRA doing the Northern Bank raid was “not proven.” This week I have to say that based on all the available evidence, the case is closed. It was the IRA.

1. Politically it is whether it was the work of Sinn Fein

Sinn Fein cagily says they are not allied with the IRA, but have a communication link, or relationship to the terrorists. That idea has been blown apart by the bank robbery, as most observers have concluded that both organizations were responsible for the robbery.

I was unaware of any indictments--now we hear the case is closed!
